Holy Trinity School Parents Association

The Parents Association of Holy Trinity School plans social events for the school community and raises funds to help offset tuition costs. Every parent of a Holy Trinity School student automatically becomes a member of the Parents Association. The Parents Association holds monthly meetings throughout the school year, usually held the last Wednesday of the month at 6:30 pm. All parents are welcome to join us to help with Fun Raising and Fundraising activities!

May/June Parents Association News –

Our evening field trip to the Deerfield Academy Planetarium on April 16th was a great success with over 50 people attending! Our thanks to Mr. David Howell of DA, who prepared two different planetarium shows, the first for students up through grade 4 on the mythology behind the constellation Orion, and the second show for students grades 5 – 8 on Mars. We all had a lot of fun at this free event and are ready now to enjoy the night sky in a new way.

Thanks to Cynthia and Jeremy Duncan for heading up the Spaghetti Supper efforts! The food was excellent and members of the HTS community and community at large had a great time with great food! The annual Spaghetti Supper Raffle for kids was also very well received – thanks to everyone who donated prizes.

Our last meeting of the year will be held on May 28th. Please join us to help plan activities for the 2008 –2009 school year at this meeting.

Candy Cane Carnival Vendors – Our 54th annual Candy Cane Carnival will be held this year on November 22nd and 23rd, as always, the weekend before Thanksgiving. For new vendors, if you would like to be placed on our mailing list for our initial mailing, please call 413-773-3831, or send us an email at candycane@holytrinityschool-gfld.org. All prospective vendors will be sent an application with deadline and guidelines for submission of photographs for review of your products with your application. Our first application mailing will take place in mid-May.
