Exploratorium at the Palace of Fine Arts in San Francisco, CA 94123. Museum of science, art, and human perception.

Beacon Learning Center An online educational resource and professional development center currently funded through a Technology Innovation Challenge Grant from the US Department of Education. On home page go to Student Resources, then on pull down menu, Student Web Lessons. There are online books. The Student Web Lessons are arranged alphabetically by title with the author's name, subject, grade levels, and a description of the lessons. Most of the activities are math related for grades 3 - 5. There are some science, social studies and language arts lessons, for kindergarten to grade 8. Great learning site for children.
